At the heart of Blend Family sits the Blend Culinary Foundation (BCF), our not-for-profit arm and the soul behind our mission.
We may build vibrant food halls, but this is where our passion for people, community, and purpose truly comes to life.
As a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), BCF is how we turn values into action — supporting independent talent, fostering diverse communities, and helping create better access to food for everyone.
Our mission is rooted in something simple but powerful: using food as a force for good. That means tackling food poverty and insecurity, championing food education, and celebrating the many cultures and stories that make up our communities.
Every penny raised by BCF is reinvested into projects that help us do just that.
Supporting Our Community
Blend Culinary Foundation
We work across three key areas: community, social, and corporate, delivering food education programmes, funding meal donations, and running initiatives that connect people around shared plates and shared goals.
From hands-on community cookery sessions to corporate pledge days and team-building events, everything we do supports our local food banks and strengthens the communities we serve.
While we don’t currently have plans for a cookery school at Kargo MKT, we’re still committed to ensuring the Foundation plays an active role in the local area — through meaningful partnerships, impactful events, and outreach that makes a real difference.
